revealed why President Uhuru Kenyatta handpicked her to be a CS and why she is
not satisfied with what she does in that big office
In her version of events after 2013, Waiguru,
who is in the eye of a raging corruption storm, revealed that she did not want
to be a CS but President Uhuru Kenyatta ‘forced’ her to be one in order to help
him transform the Jubilee Government.
She said she didn’t apply to be a CS as
alleged by the appointing authority but applied to be a Principal Secretary
only for the President to call her for a CS interview.
“I had applied for a Principal
Secretary job. I was very shocked when President Uhuru Kenyatta called me for a
Cabinet Secretary interview,” revealed Waiguru.
Waiguru’s shocking revelations may
explain why she is so incompetent to the extent that she does not care even if
public money is being looted under her nose.
According to her, being a CS does not
give her job satisfaction because she didn’t want to be one, but a PS.
