Saturday November 7, 2015 - The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) have done it again in the war against
Al Shabaab terrorists after they recorded another huge victory over the
militants on Friday.
The Kenya Defence Forces killed several
Al Shabaab terrorists and recovered militants’ vehicles and weaponry.
According to KDF Spokesman, Colonel
David Obonyo, KDF cornered Al Shabaab in Billis Quocane and Tabda when they
tried to ambush the troops and killed them like insects.
He confirmed that 9 terrorists were neutralized
by the gallant soldiers as they tried to escape but fortunately their vehicle
got stuck and were murdered like flies.
“Nine terrorists were neutralized; nine
rifles, explosive devices and assorted ammunition were also recovered. A double
Cabin Hilux Surf and a tractor which the terrorists were using have also been
confined at the Bardhere Camp,” said Obonyo.
“The troops also recovered a boat the
terrorists have been using to cross the Juba River and infiltrate Gedo,” he
added.
At the same time, Obonyo denied reports
that some KDF soldiers died in the ensuing fight with Al Shabaab
